Get a cleaner, more useful test

Use the correct paper size
Choose A4 or US Letter to match the paper physically loaded in the tray. Mismatched sizes can trigger scaling or clipping.
Use Actual Size for geometry tests
For rulers, circles and alignment grids, choose 100% or Actual Size. Fit-to-page changes the measurements.
Start with plain paper
For general diagnosis, plain white paper removes a variable. Use photo paper later if the issue appears only in photo printing.
Compare quality modes
Draft, economy and high-quality modes can produce visibly different density and line detail. Note which mode you used.
Repeat after maintenance
If you run a nozzle clean, alignment or calibration, print the same test again. A before-and-after comparison is more useful than switching sheets.
Do not over-clean
